FAMILY RUN FRANKFURT
After 1000 years, the Vikings are back in Germany, and your family can go on an adventure during the Strong Viking Family Run 2026 in Frankfurt, Germany! On a special 4 km course for families, you will compete together against exciting and tough obstacles. Who is the toughest in the family? You will discover that on this unforgettable day!
Far away from the daily routine, in the middle of nature near Frankfurt, you will overcome obstacles together, jump through mud puddles and get wonderfully dirty – just as it should be! In fact, arriving at the finish without mud is not an option. Dive into the mud together, slide down water slides, crawl through dark tunnels, and above all have fun! You can participate from the age of five!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Waldensberger Straße, Wächtersbach
As a participant, you can store your luggage for free at a supervised cloakroom. You will receive a wristband, which allows you to retrieve your luggage after the run. Please note, no lockers are available on-site! Make sure to bring a bag for your belongings, as only bags will be accepted at the cloakroom—no loose items.
Important: Only 1 piece of luggage per participant is allowed.
Storing your luggage is always at your own risk.
Of course, you are very welcome to come and cheer on the participants! Admission is free, and the venue opens at 8:30 AM. In addition to numerous obstacles, there will be various stands, catering, and more around the start and finish area. Please note that parking fees may apply if you use the parking facilities.
Strong Viking is not a race; it’s your own challenge. At each obstacle, there is an option to ‘walk by,’ allowing you to decide your own limits and how far you want to push yourself!
*Different rules apply for the OCR Series (Racewave), Ultra Viking and Iron Viking.
4km – Family Run: min. age 5 years old (or becomes 5 in that calender year)
4km – Beginning: min. 10 years old (or becomes 10 in this calender year)
7km: min. age 10 years old (or becomes 10 in that calender year)
13km: min. age 12 years old (or becomes 12 in that calender year)
19km and OCR Series: min. age 14 years old (or becomes 14 in that calender year)
42km Iron Viking: min. age 16 years old
60km Ultra Viking: min. age 18 years old
If you are coming by car, a parking ticket is required. It can be purchased on-site for €10 in cash. This fee includes transportation with the shuttle bus.

The start of your adventure! These walls give you access to the Strong Viking Family trail. Overcome them and take on the challenge together.

Have fun together in the mud! Climb over the high mountains and take a dip in the best mud ever! For once you can get completely dirty.
