Prepare yourself for this spectacular edition at the beautiful Provinciaal Domein Puyenbroeck near Ghent. The most challenging and awesome obstacles are ready for you at this sunny edition! Choose between the 4km, 7km, 13km, 19km or even the 42km obstacle track! We will have a fitting challenge ready for everyone at every level!
The track will be all about challenges, getting stronger, conquering fears, but most of all: having fun together! Gather your friends, family, colleagues or others that want to experience this amazing challenge with you!
At this edition you will face famous Strong Viking obstacles like the Flying Ragnar, Storm the Castle and of course the famous twelve metre high Fjord Drop. A guaranteed awesome Strong Viking experience!
Next to that, the Water Edition in Ghent is the perfect place for your weekend away with friends. Join the Strong Viking challenge together and end the weekend with a visit to the beautiful centre of Ghent!

Yes, every participant receives a number on a wristband with which he/she can drop-off their bag in a guarded baggage room.* There are no lockers on site! Make sure you bring a bag for your belongings, at the checkroom they only accept bags and no loose items!
Be advised, only 1 bag allowed per participant!
*Leaving your bag is always at your own risk.
Of course, you are very welcome to come and encourage the participants! Entrance to the area is free and open from 8:30am.
After the event it is possible to wash off/shower in separate shower areas for men and women (except Family Edition). However, there are no closed shower cabins.
No, every obstacle has a ‘walk by’. You define your own limits/capabilities. “Strong Viking is not a Race, it’s a challenge!”
The minimum participation age varies according to the distances:
4km - Family Run: min. age 5 years old (or becomes 5 in that calender year)
4km - Beginning: min. 12 years old (or becomes 12 in this calender year)
7km: min. age 13 years old (or becomes 13 in that calender year)
13km: min. age 14 years old (or becomes 14 in that calender year)
19km and OCR Series: min. age 16 years old (or becomes 16 in that calender year)
42km Iron Viking: min. age 18 years old
60km Ultra Viking: min. age 18 years old
