The Strong Viking Family Run is an Obstacle Run of 3km or 5km where running is combined with conquering obstacles. It is the ideal challenge for all outdoor sports lovers: small and grown ups! The Strong Viking Family Run is packed with Obstacles, Mud & lots of FUN!
What you get
- 3km or 5km original Strong Viking Obstacle Run track
- An original finisher T-shirt at the end of the run
- Refreshments on the track
- Personal photos/videos of you during the run
- A personal photo at the finish
- The choice of a beer (for adults) or water at the finish
At certain locations, we collaborate with/recommend local hotels/camping grounds to offer you accomodation.
The minimum participation age varies according to the distances:
4km - Family Run: min. age 5 years old (or becomes 5 in that calender year)
4km - Beginning: min. 14 years old (or becomes 14 in that calender year)
7km: min. age 14 years old (or becomes 14 in that calender year)
13km: min. age 14 years old (or becomes 14 in that calender year)
19km and OCR Series: min. age 16 years old (or becomes 16 in that calender year)
42km Iron Viking: min. age 18 years old
60km Ultra Viking: min. age 18 years old
After the event it is possible to wash off/shower in separate shower areas for men and women (except Family Edition). However, there are no closed shower cabins.
Yes, there are separate changing rooms for men and women at the event.
Of course, you are very welcome to come and encourage the participants! Entrance to the area is free and open from 8:30am.
The finish photos of the Strong Viking Obstacle Run are posted after the personal (action) photos and videos on our Facebook pages*.
