Warstein
The so called "Sauerland" is famous for action sports and fun time in summer or winter. With Warstein we found the perfect area for an event. 60 - 90 Minutes from Essen the second german Family Edition is going to take place.
Up to 25 obstacles are waiting for you and your kids in the nice forest around Warstein. You'll meet mud trenches, dark tunnels, water and slides and be far away from daily life.
Parents and kids ( minimum age 5 years) are going on a journey of 3 - 5 kilometer and a special experience home with them.
Ticket includes:
- 3km of 5km original Strong Viking Family Run track
- An original finisher t-shirt at the finish
- Refreshments on the track
- Personal photos/videos of you during the run
- A personal photo at the finish
- A drink at the finish

The minimum participation age varies according to the distances:
4km - Family Run: min. age 5 years old (or becomes 5 in that calender year)
4km - Beginning: min. 12 years old (or becomes 12 in this calender year)
7km: min. age 13 years old (or becomes 13 in that calender year)
13km: min. age 14 years old (or becomes 14 in that calender year)
19km and OCR Series: min. age 16 years old (or becomes 16 in that calender year)
42km Iron Viking: min. age 18 years old
60km Ultra Viking: min. age 18 years old
Of course, you are very welcome to come and encourage the participants! Entrance to the area is free and open from 8:30am.
Yes! During the run there are a number of refreshments posts with water and Herbalife Nutrition drinks and power bars. Click here to see the products/ingredients. In addition, there is also a Red Bull Energypoint where you can enjoy Red Bull mixed with water to provide you with extra energy to complete the course.
For Iron Vikings there is the possibility to leave your own extra nutrition at a designated spot on the track.
After the event it is possible to wash off/shower in separate shower areas for men and women (except Family Edition). However, there are no closed shower cabins.
Yes, every participant receives a number on a wristband with which he/she can drop-off their bag in a guarded baggage room.* There are no lockers on site! Make sure you bring a bag for your belongings, at the checkroom they only accept bags and no loose items!
Be advised, only 1 bag allowed per participant!
*Leaving your bag is always at your own risk.
Yes, there are separate changing rooms for men and women at the event.

If you have missed the deadline to fill in the additional details, all the tickets/start numbers will be under the name of the person who has made the purchase. This person must then collect all the start envelopes in person on the day of the event by presenting a valid photo ID and the signed e-tickets.
