The Strong Viking Brother Edition will be the official end of the Strong Viking Obstacle Run season 2017 in Germany!
Mud, Hills, Water & Forest, you will need to conquer them all at the Brother Edition. In the beautiful area of the Büdinger forest near Frankfurt am Main everyone can escape from their daily lives and become real Vikings again!
No matter what your goals are, everyone can be a Viking! Choose between 7km, 13km, 19km or our 42km Iron Viking marathon! Gather your friends, challenge them & become Brothers!

The minimum participation age varies according to the distances:
3km: min. age 5 years old (or becomes 5 in that calender year)
5km: min. age 10 years old (or becomes 10 in that calender year)
7 and 13 km: min. age 14 years old (or becomes 14 in that calender year)
19 km and OCR Series: min. age 16 years old (or becomes 16 in that calender year)
Iron Viking (42km): min. age 18 years old
Ultra Viking (60km): min. age 18 years old
Of course, you are very welcome to come and encourage the participants! Entrance to the area is free and open from 8:30am.
Yes! During the run there are a number of refreshments posts with water and Herbalife Nutrition drinks and power bars. Click here to see the products/ingredients. In addition, there is also a Red Bull Energypoint where you can enjoy Red Bull mixed with water to provide you with extra energy to complete the course.
For Iron Vikings there is the possibility to leave your own extra nutrition at a designated spot on the track.
After the event it is possible to wash off/shower in separate shower areas for men and women (except Family Edition). However, there are no closed shower cabins.
Yes, every participant receives a number on a wristband with which he/she can drop-off their bag in a guarded baggage room.*
Be advised, only 1 bag allowed per participant!
*Leaving your bag is always at your own risk.
Yes, there are separate changing rooms for men and women at the event.
